A street level view with curb appeal

Sick building, healthy decisions

Time for familyAs I listen to the power saws outside my window I am reminded that the buildings I live in are quite sick. If this were a house I owned I would sell it to someone better suited to healing it. Living with the high level of maintenance might be better suited for someon else. In this community, that person will earn a sense of meaning and belonging. That someone who will dig in and see this deconstruction and reconstruction through until the end will have the kind of time I do not have. For I already have a sense of belonging and the only hero I want to be is in the eyes of my Son. This place takes me away from that more often than a normal living situation would. For us, living with this for years to come isn’t in my family’s best interest. I am so thankful I have a choice. It seems many who live in this development don’t.
