A street level view with curb appeal

The buffoonery that surrounds me

Being surrounded by intelligent people at most intersections in my life is why I get so surprised at the amount of buffoonery that goes on. Most of the time things go pretty smooth, life is good and no one is an ass hat. Then, out of nowhere everyone around me seems to do idiot things in a period of a few weeks. And it’s at times like these I curse having a blog because I know darn well where it’s going to go. In my blog. I bite my typing fingers, (don’t write about that; don’t do it; sit on it; leave it). If the only thing I ever write in my blog is about ass hats and fools then I should re-name it ass-hats and fools dot com.

(There are those perpetually happy people who never have a bad thing to say about anyone. How do they do it? They don’t blog. Hell, they reveal nothing personal at all).

Most of the buffoonery I speak of is reactionary complaining. Yes, I am complaining about people complaining. When 20,000,000 people die of flooding, life is pretty darn good when all we have to complain about are things that won’t kill us.
