Facebook the Moral Majority
I’m back on facebook. I never left. they disabled my account and now they gave it back.
Facebook does it’s house cleaning by other people’s standards which is to say that until someone complains about something Facebook is pretty good with it. I have been accused of having sexually graphic photo’s on my profile. The only photo I had are from my Fiance’s photo shoot in pink bunny fur which she has on her own Facebook profile. Still has on her profile and hardly worth removing when compared to others. So while they may have removed mine, hers are still there.
What this means is someone complained about mine and not hers. What this also says to me is it’s time do some housecleaning of “friends”. These photos are only viewable by “friends”
So. Anyone I have never met in person will be removed.
To me, facebook is a personal tool. It’s for sharing with people I know. It’s a ‘behind the scenes’ of Paul McEwan. I might know you on Twitter or other public forums such as this blog but when I friend you on Facebook. You are someone I trust and know very well. Myself, my child and my wife to be. My family.
Here is the email they sent that makes me sound like a raving perve.
